Blair Richardson
Owner - Vantage Hill, NSW

“I use the PVC Posts from Duncan Equine, they don’t chew them, turns up, no painting is needed, drill it on and put it up. I did it because we wanted to move into spelling horses, we had expensive horses to break in and we wanted good safe horse fencing to spell the horses in. A lot of our paddocks do have laneways, but some do have a single fence in between and we haven’t had any injuries or any problems with them fighting over the fence, and I think it’s because it carries a lot of current.

I do the fencing myself, it’s really easy to put up, your rail just runs out off a spinner and then you just teck screw your bracket onto the post and it goes up quickly and I think that’s the biggest benefit with it, how quick you can put it up.”

Alec White
Owner - Belltrees, NSW

“Here at Belltrees we are the White family with over 7 generations and we’ve been here for over 170 years. We are mainly a cattle and sheep farm and we are now diversifying into the thoroughbred industry and with horses and are upgrading the farm and fencing.

Timber is getting harder and harder to source especially at great quality. We’ve taken the step to go with Duncan Equine and I think it’s the all round fence. It’s safe, its got longevity and we love the look of it as well. We are looking to do a lot more fencing with horse agistment and polo breeding and I think this fence covers all equine disciplines and horse breeds.”

Julian Blaxland
Owner - Newington Farm, QLD

“We first started using Duncan Equine Group fencing products about five years ago when we bought Newington Farm, Kacy and I looked at a range of fencing options and on the recommendation of Anthony Mithen from Rosemont Stud we gave this a try. It’s a really safe product, we’ve had minimal injuries over the years, we have had 100’s of horses come through every year and it’s just a wonderful product.

Stallion Rail over timber is a new technology, it’s a wonderful product, it’s got give, it’s a lot safer than timber I think, you can run electricity through it so horses will stay away from it and anything that keeps horses off fences is a good thing. It’s a really good product and I’d recommend it to anyone.

I’ve found the Duncan Equine Group great to deal with, very good customer support, they are fast to come back with anything you need to order, and just really good service all round.”

Dan Fletcher
Owner - Telmon Thoroughbreds, QLD

“We first used the Duncan Equine Group and their products in 2016, shortly following the initial purchase of our farm. We needed to make some changes and improvements and Duncan Equine were the products we chose. The reason we chose to use Stallion Rail over timber is the long-term economics was a big factor, we decided it’s a product we’ll get more longevity from, lower maintenance, safety and we’re also happy with the aesthetics of it.

Our customer service experience dealing with the Duncan Equine team has been really good, we’ve needed support around the ordering process, and coming up with exactly what’s required and they have been exceptionally good in terms of the way they have supported us, especially when dealing with contractors you often need things quickly.”

Craig Douglas
Farm Maintainence Manager - Rosemont Farm, VIC

“The main thing for us is safety not only for Rosemont horses but also for client horses, so safety is paramount for them and the durability of it as well, once it’s done you never have to touch it.

The amount of rail we’ve put in, you don’t want to be repeating that every 5 or 10 years. What we’ve put in along the river, we had a couple of floods this time last year, we were pretty much underwater and there was very minimal repair we had to do after the two lots of floods within 3 weeks.

So the last two years we’ve probably done 40% of the farm in Stallion Rail and will probably endeavor to do the whole lot eventually. Simon and the crew are great to work with and that comes out in their work when you go there. This is a perfect product for us and a good relationship.”

Antony Thompson
Owner - Widden Stud, NSW

“When we looked at the Stallion Rail it seemed to solve a lot of problems. We were having trouble sourcing good-quality timber. The team at Duncan Equine have been great to deal with. There’s that level of trust, honesty and integrity. They’re happy to share their knowledge with our fencing team. With the value of horses today, it’s important to put them behind the safest fence possible. With the Stallion Rail we’ve used, I think we’ve built the safest paddocks. Duncan Equine has a complete fencing system. Not only are they safe and cost-effective, they also look great. Certainly, horses look great behind Stallion Rail.”

CHRIS WATSON

“Whenever we upgrade or install new Thoroughbred infrastructure we contact Duncan Equine. Their range of quality products are truly world class and innovative. Their products are backed by great customer service and personal horse knowledge. We have just installed new day yards utilising the Duncan Equine Stallion Rail; I could not be happier with the finished product. I would highly recommend Duncan Equine products.”
