First reason we went with Duncan Equine was safety, that was number one priority for me. Second was how it looked and went with the property and tied in nicely. And then final was cost. It exceeded my expectations. When it all came together, I was just blown away with how good it looked and how easy it came together.

Everything other than the posts we did ourselves. Before we would get to the next step, we would watch a video and then just follow that and it was that simple.

I didn’t have to go anywhere else, they had everything, even the waterers and feeders…the lot!

The first priority when we got the farm was to make sure we upgrade it to the best fencing for longevity.

People that have used it have very highly spoken about it lasting a long time. So that was a big thing in the decision in it. We Spoke to Widden Stud who have used it for a very long time, and Duncan Equine seems to be the name that everyone was saying!

We are absolutely delighted with the Stallion Rail so far, it’s wonderfully safe, easy to put up and gives you peace of mind with no wire involved.

I sent emails out chasing a plastic horse rail product and Duncan Equine were the first one’s to get back to me, they were brilliant to work with, very forthcoming, we could ring them anytime.

They’re horse people. They understand our needs, they understand our existing safety concerns and they’ve been very good to deal with.

Overall, its safe, its affordable and it looks good!

“We are so happy with the Duncan product and the service from the team in particular Ash!

They were diligent in helping select everything to make sure the process was smooth. We loved the product at install that we kept extending areas for use and they were so helpful with getting stock to us in a timely manner so we could get the project done! Couldn’t recommend highly enough!”

“We are very happy with the outcome and found Duncan Equine’s product super easy to use. Our internal fencing is finished with 3 x Stallion Rails, the top rail finished at 1650-1700mm above Ground level, preventing horse play/contact over the top of the fences. Perimeter fence finished with 1200mm high Horse Mesh, with Stallion Rail finished above at 1650-1700mm above ground level. We installed 400 posts, 1km Horse Mesh to Perimeter, 1600 meters Stallion Rail.”

“Our top priority was the safest fence possible for our daughters’ horses, but we wanted something that looks great and that would last, so it adds value to our property, too. We chose Duncan Equine because they were always available to give advice, especially on the design of the paddock layout. Horse experience advice!”

“We haven’t had an injury that I can relate to our fencing So from that aspect, we are getting the results we hoped for. We did learn the hard way with some youngstock, the old post and rail where they’d kicked out, and we made a decision that rather than rush in and fix the fencing,we’d explore the option of Duncan Equine. We didn’t need a maintenance team in terms of painting the posts, didn’t need termite protection, all these things that cost, we took out of the budget, and they aren’t things we now need to be concerned about.”

“I use the PVC Posts from Duncan Equine, they don’t chew them, turns up, no painting is needed, drill it on and put it up. I did it because we wanted to move into spelling horses, we had expensive horses to break in and we wanted good safe horse fencing to spell the horses in. A lot of our paddocks do have laneways, but some do have a single fence in between and we haven’t had any injuries or any problems with them fighting over the fence, and I think it’s because it carries a lot of current.”

“Timber is getting harder and harder to source especially at great quality. We’ve taken the step to go with Duncan Equine and I think it’s the all round fence. It’s safe, its got longevity and we love the look of it as well. We are looking to do a lot more fencing with horse agistment and polo breeding and I think this fence covers all equine disciplines and horse breeds.”

“We first started using Duncan Equine Group fencing products about five years ago when we bought Newington Farm, Kacy and I looked at a range of fencing options and on the recommendation of Anthony Mithen from Rosemont Stud we gave this a try. It’s a really safe product, we’ve had minimal injuries over the years, we have had 100’s of horses come through every year and it’s just a wonderful product.”
