Jya’s love for horses began early, growing up on a family farm where she began riding from the moment she could sit in a saddle – often creating plenty of chaos along the way. With encouragement from her father, Jya began showing at a young age and has since pursued this passion with aspirations to compete at major shows and dressage events.
Further developing her equine experience, Jya spent 5-years in the racing industry as a track-rider and thoroughbred stud hand. This time allowed her to deepen her knowledge and skills in horse care and management.
Outside of horses, Jya is also an avid British Bulldog lover and finds they enjoy keeping her just as busy as horses do!
Now proud to be a member of the Duncan team, Jya brings her passion and experience to helping customers achieve their dream fencing set up to keep their horses safe and secure.
